President’s Diwali Message
Jai Hind , Jai Uttarakhand.
Namaskar to everyone,
Thank you for coming to UCAC Diwali Milan 2017. We hope all the families enjoyed the evening.
Foremost, I would like to pay our respect and prayers to the great souls, whom we lost this year. We also lost one of our former Executive Committee Member and lovely friend Shri Harshvarthan Pharasi Ji. He contribution to UCAC and our community has been invaluable. He touched the hearts of so many people and we will miss him in near future.
We would like to thank our Chief Guest of the event, Honorable MP of the Conservative Party of Canada, Mr. John Brassard who graced the occasion and with his presence and conveyed the message of Hon’ble MP and opposition Leader Mr. Andrew Scheer to our community. The support of our sponsors has always motivated us to improve the programs and we would like to thank all our sponsors for their esteem support.
I would also like to thank all the participants, volunteers, MC, Videographer, Photographer, DJ, Sound system team , Chef, management team of Chandni Convention Centre, Media Y Channel for coverage of the event and Executive Committee Members for their contribution and hard work to make this event a success. UCAC Diwali event set up a new bench mark with more than 400 attendees, professional videographer, photographer, Photo Booth, Face painting for children and excellent food including pahari dish Jhangoru kheer. We expect that this bench mark will go up and up by hard work and commitment by future Executive Committee/s.
Our committee has started the below initiatives:
- We are thrilled to inform you that Uttarakhand Association Of Canada (UCAC) has been registered as Not for Profit Organization.
- Conducting regular accounting and annual financial statement.
- Committee has made accounting simple and transparent along with Interac E-Transfer.
- We were able to transition the UCAC website access, to manage and maintain it better.
Lastly, I would like to once again thank all our sponsors for their kind support to our community; without their support this event was not possible.
